Summer Reading Challenge 2018 & “Mischief Makers”

Last year an amazing 9,826 children in Gloucestershire joined up to Animal Agents and 6,164 read six library books to complete the challenge and collected their medals and certificates. We have super readers in Berkeley!

In 2018 the theme was “Mischief Makers” which came to Berkeley Community Library in July.

We visited the local primary schools in the summer term to tell children all about it and intend to repeat the event every year. Pop into the library and ask us about it.

Children’s area in the library with some toys and other activities.
